MFP Printer job box access code

This provides information on how to change the Multi-Function Printers (copiers) job box access code. By default the access code was set to 0405. This can be changed to ensure security.

Staff members, especially those dealing with student data, should consider changing their access code or setting this code to ask for a code upon print job being created.

To change the job access code you will need to get into the printers properties/preferences.

Step 1: Go to Settings under the start menu

Alternatively you can select the Prompt for access code and each time you print to the configured printer it would prompt you to provide an access code to use to retrieve each individual print job.

Once completed you can click Ok to  get out of the two printer option screens and close out of the Settings window.
