To manually install iPrint printer you will need to follow the instructions below.
All computers managed by U.S.D. 405 will have an icon on the desktop for iPrint for easy access to the iPrint website. The instructions below provide an overview of how to find and install printers within U.S.D. 405's supported systems.
Use the Quick Print function to print documents such as word documents or PDF without installing the printer. This can be useful for those that are only needing to print a single document but are not using that printer regularly.
Please note that any printer with a lock icon to the left of it will be a secure printer. To use this printer, you must be logged into iPrint using your OES credentials (credentials used to log into the computer) and have rights to this printer.

To install any U.S.D. 405 district printers from iPrint you must first go to the following URL: https://iprint.usd405.com/print
Placing the mouse over the line by each printer will display two additional icons just to the right of the printer. If you hover your mouse over each icon, they will provide the intended command that will execute if that icon is pressed. One is Install and the other is QuickPrint. To install the printer just press the Install icon to start the installation process.
Once the install process is started a second screen should appear. For windows users you may be presented with an option to select an App by which to open the requested link in. Selecting the default option will present the following Printer installation screen.
Please note that you have a "Set printer as default" option. If that check box is selected the printer will be set as your default printer for you.
Clicking "Yes" will start the final install process and setup the printer automatically. Once finished you will be provided a prompt letting you know that status of the install. If you get a dialog box that states the printer was installed successfully then you can start using that printer.
