1. If you wish to search for a specific quote or phrase, encapsulate the phrase in quotes. Example: "I'll be back!"
2. To gain more specific search results on a subject use the Search Tools located just below the search request and above the search results. You can specify date, place, and even reading levels. To use the Search Tools just click that option and a new sub-menu will appear. You can then select based on the categories how you wish to shorten your search parameters.
3. To remove sections of your search that you don't want to see you can add a minus sign at the end of the search request with the name or information you wish to remove. Example: John Glenn -Senetor This should provide search results that have removed the word Senator from the results.
4. To search a specific site for information you can use the "Site:" option. Example: Site: www.usd405.com "Basketball"
5. Searching for results that should be safe for children can be done by clicking the cog wheel in the upper right corner and turning on SafeSearch tools.
