Printer Access

This Knowledge Base article describes how to gain access to printers on the network.

A list of printers available to staff and students can be found at https://iprint.usd405.com/ipp (You may have to click proceed to website due to the internal Certificate)

This list of printers also gives you access to install the printer on your computer. Most of the printers are available to both staff and students with the exception of the color printers found in the office areas. To gain access to these printers you will need to have your building Administrator send that request to the IT Department. This should be done using the help desk system.

The printers that have the MFP on the end are the copier's posted around the district. They can be found in the office as well as most libraries. To retrieve the printed items from the copier you will need an access code. The default code is 0405. You can change that code as needed to help secure your printed items.

The MFP printers can also work as a scanner, e-mailing the requested scanned items to you. For each building with a Kyocera KM-5050 copier your scanners Address Book should have your name posted for you. If you are not listed you can add your address to the list or send in an SR to have the IT Department add it for you.

See Knowledge Base Article # 31 for more information.

Note:
MFP = Multi-Function-Printer
SR = Support Request / Help Desk Ticket
TID = Ticket Information Document or Technical Information Document
