GroupWise Webmail blank white page- UPDATE!


When attempting to log into GroupWise Webmail the website displays a white page after the username and password is given.

Since the update to GroupWise 2012, this process is no longer needed.


When you log into GroupWise webmail website and get a blank white page instead of your e-mail this indicates that there is a compatibility issues between the website and the web browser you are using. Internet Explorer 9 has a known issues with the school districts GroupWise webmail access.

To resolve this issue you will need to click the Internet Explorer Compatibility mode to allow the website to be viewed. To do this you will need to click the broken paper icon on the right side of the Address Bar in Internet explorer. Once that is done you can log in to webmail and view your e-mail correctly.

UPDATE:

The update to GroupWise 2012 fixes the Compatability issue some users have experienced.

In some cased you may be prompted to remove the compatability settings. Please follow the steps below to help resolve this error message.

In Internet Explorer 9
1. hit the "Alt" button on your keyboard (a Menu bar will appear at the top of IE9's page)
2. Select the "Tools" menu button.
3. Select the "Compatablitiy View Settings"
4. Highlight any links that show webmail.usd405.com, usd405.com, or variations.
5. High the "Remove" Button to remove those links from the Compatability View.
6. Hit "Close" once you are finished.

You may need to close the browser for the setting to take place.
